Many root canals are finished in one visit. For severely infected teeth, we may place medicated dressing and complete treatment at a second visit to ensure full decontamination.

Protecting your tooth after treatment

Root-canal–treated teeth are more prone to fracture. In most cases, we recommend a porcelain crown to restore strength and function.

Mild tenderness for a day or two is common. Avoid chewing hard or sticky foods on that side until any final crown is placed. Call us if pain or swelling increases. We’ll share personalized home-care tips and schedule your follow-up.
